Play: The Old Man and his Attorney
This is my adaption of "The Old man and the Sea". I had to create this game for my game design class. The task was, to create any kind of game that is an adaption to the novel "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway.
I chose the theme of a trial, because in my interpretation the trial fits best of what will happen with the old man in the novel.
"Border Patrol" is a serious game, conducted during summer term 2015 at the Cologne Game Lab, Cologne, Germany by Andreas Felix Tritsch, Ban Müller-Thiab, Fee Bonny, Jörg Burbach and me.
It's set in the complex Mexican-American War on Drugs. You may play as the US-Soldier, protecting the border from immigrants approaching from Mexico. Or, you play as a Mexican, sneaking across the border into the U.S.A.
This game was made during the Global Game Jam 15 within 48h @CologneGameLab by Aleksandra Zaricin, Falk Fabri, Jevgenijs Danilins & me.
It is about a student who has to search for his USB on presentation day. His fellow student forces him to quickly find it. The student had a great party before the exam day and will have some strange side effects during his search.
This is the fifth game design student project. The game was made within 2 days and needs minor tweaking, but is fully playable.
This time we had to choose another theme from a random generator. I chose the theme "shapeshifting" and put the gameplay in a serious topic. This game is about religious tolerance.
This game is the fourth student project. This time I collaborated with a fellow student to create a fusion of our past student games. We combined the gameplay of Jetbak with the custom grafics, music and sound of Stardiving Troopers. Be sure to check out his great game.
Pew Pew is the 3rd student project game. The theme for this one was "Create a light creature that should be controlled with the mouse. You control a little sun that can shoot laser bullets. These bullets reflect on the environment. The goal of the game is to reach the wormhole of every level by solving different puzzles. The game is currently in a wip state and will be improved in the future.
